The PROLINNOVA Zimbabwe Country Platform affiliated to the PROLINNOVA International, an NGO-initiated international network and community of practice that promotes local innovation processes in ecologically oriented agriculture and natural resource management has been established. PELUM Zimbabwe is a member of PROLINNOVA Zimbabwe and its role is to perform secretarial duties. The Zimbabwe PROLINNOVA Country Platform is presently comprised of five civil society organisations namely: Participatory Ecological Land Use Management (PELUM) Zimbabwe, Cluster Agricultural Development Services (CADS), Centre for Applied Social Sciences (CASS), Zimbabwe Smallholder Organic Farmers Forum (ZIMSOFF), and The Phiri Award. Five representatives from these civil society organisations make up the National Steering Committee (NSC). As the Country Platform grows it will include other civil society organisations and representatives from Government and the private sector.
